Both Jane and I thought the nose was lovely... floral, oozing red fruits, prunes, sawdust, and earth, very sappy and full. Medium bodied, good long fruit, just a touch of astringency and earth to bring the sappiness into balance. Long sweet plummy finish. Very nice village wine and a pretty good value.
