Monday, January 10, 2011 - A reasonable middle-of-the-week sort of wine. Not a ton of fruit like I am used to from several Oregon producers. Certainly, better vineyard examples from Et Fille deliver the goods but this one is lacking although it developed a bit through the evening. Quince, pear, cranberry, mint, and strawberry on the nose are followed by medium Pinot Noir weight with palate notes echoing the nose, reasonably stout tannins and grapefruit acid.
