Monday, March 6, 2023 - 2021 Chateau la Freynelle Blanc is a blend of Semillon, muscadelle and Sauv Blanc that presents as a very pale yellow to platinum color with clarity. There is a minimal presence of petulance with slight effervescence in the glass. The tears quickly fall once the glass is swirled. Essence of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers on the nose that yield to candied citrus on the palette. This is a light, crisp, dry white with 12.5% ABV. The finish is short but cleansing.
