Monday, November 6, 2023 - Released in mid-2021, this breathtaking Cab Franc weighs in at 15.5% abv. (not noticeable). In my view, now is the time to enjoy this beauty from Diamond Mountain, although goodness knows how much life it has left (?). Clear, deep, dark magenta. Medium-bodied. Inviting aromas of blackberry, char, coffee, fig, mint, mocha, raspberry, sage. Bright, luscious fruit with good lift through the mid-palate foretell the joyride to come, as this perfectly balanced and integrated dive finishes without so much as a splash. Kudos to Mr. Gibson. Highly recommended.
