Sunday, December 23, 2007 - Completely different blend than the '04, but with equally, if not better quality. More Merlot based, the aromatics aren't as intense, yet offer great black cherry and plum with a chocolatey note. The palate is quite rich, but not too powerful and with lower acidity. Creme de cassis, mocha, and toasted rosemary make up the palate. This winery is something else!!
