Saturday, May 14, 2011 - Always a pleasant surprise when older bottles hold up. The wine was at low neck level. The cork was sealing well and gave a little 'pop' wen released. The colour was age appropriate - fading colour but bright. Pencil shavings and cedar nose. Lovely palate weight with balanced acids and resolved, smooth tannins.
