Tuesday, June 13, 2023 - Drank alongside Thai food. This bottle seemed to be less sweet than I recall in my memory, but perhaps it may have been the food and environment.

Today this drank similarly in the realm of Lauer's Barrel X, with a sweet and sour balance, preserved lemons and sweetened citrus, also showing some salinity and an almost natty wine essence. Overall, was enjoyable and paired nicely with spicy Thai food, but this did not meet the highs of my first encounter. Perhaps it is starting to shut down and may need some years. 91-92 today.
