SpoochMan Does not like this wine:

Saturday, May 7, 2011 - Was gifted to us. PnP, with burgers. This is nowhere near an 88 point wine to me. It has some decent plum fruit, but simple with almost no secondary characteristics. A bit bitter and hot on the finish too. Not enough fruit to stand up. Unfortunately, this really boring style is all too common with CA Merlot. Would not expect this to get better as the fruit is already a bit dull.
