Wednesday, April 12, 2023 - Pours dark ruby red. A direct and strong nose of forest fruits. On the palate it is classic Loire cab franc: peppery, sandy, lively acid, strong streaks of mushroom and forest floor. Medium tannins and finish with slightest hint of cocoa. Am no expert on this region but this delivered to expectations, no more no less; I feel I could have picked this out of a lineup blind as a classy Bourgeuil.
