Thursday, March 18, 2010 - I decanted this for about and hour and a half. When first poured the nose was very subtle with little other than wood and light spice, a quick swirl of the glass and magic happened! Strawberry, plum and blackberry all came flying out the top of the glass. The palate unfortunately was not as fruity and although it did have some black fruit and cherry flavours the finish was still woody. A bit more time in the bottle and a longer decant and this could have scored higher.
