Wednesday, December 25, 2013 - Dark purple color. The nose is a blend of plums, prunes, and dark cherry. The palate matches the nose and ther is a touch of heat, but it is not terribly distracting. This is full-bodied with moderate acidity and a moderate finish of dark fruit. Overall, this was not immediately recognizeable as a Zinfandel, but it did have ripe fruit and was easy to drink.
