Saturday, February 18, 2023 - Having had the 18 vintage of this class act, gorgeous Jermann wine last year, expectations were indeed v high. And, yes this is performing even better! Pale golden-straw, slight green reflections in appearance. The nose is teeming with restrained yet complex aromas of citrus, tropical touch, seasoned oak, chalk & touches of vanilla. Absolutely delicate m-bodied palate, m-acidity, super fresh with nuances of honeysuckle, citrus and hazelnuts. Defined texture, lovely concentration, elegant & deep, so alive. Superb, vibrant, complex & long finish.
