Wednesday, February 7, 2024 - Tasted blind. Lightly golden. This wine has a saline and (lightly) honeyed almond nose. More than anything, it’s characterized by the absence of fruit in the nose. On the palate it shows citrus and pear, and still a lot of almond. I should know to guess verdicchio when the saline character is so striking. I will guess verdicchio di matelica. 91.
