Thursday, August 18, 2022 - The 2020 vintage: delicious, concentrated fruit with lots of complexity and structure. The deep garnet wine starts with an effusion nose of fresh blue fruit and red fruit with warm oak notes. On the palate tightly woven black raspberry and Bing cherry flavors up front lead to fresh pomegranate on the finish. The concentrated fruit flavors are infused with wonderful baking spice flavors and caramel. The mouthfeel is lush and expansive with mouthwatering acidity creating a compelling mouthful of wine all the way through a super long finish.

Can be appreciated on its own, but spring lamb or pork, cooked with herbs and mushrooms would make a heroic pairing.
