Friday, November 17, 2023 - Wood, blood, iron, oregano on the nose with a little bit of ripe red fruit in the background. Medium + intensity of aromas. The palate adds oregano and changes of the condition of the fruits to cooked/stewed. Guessing that's a consequences of the warmer weather in 2019. Finishes very dusty and bitter. Medium intensity of flavors. With food, the fruits in the palate taste a little less cooked, which I think improves this.

Medium body, medium + acid, medium + tannin. This was significantly improved with food (eggplant parmagiana). So much so that I would say definitely don't open it without food. Probably not going to improve with any bottle age, either.
