Wednesday, December 2, 2020 - Medium garnet in color with an oranging rim. Soaring aromatics on the nose. Juicy red fruits, cherry, rhubarb, lingonberry, along with soil, leather and soft spice accents. Bright on the palate with a satiny/silky texture, combining a sense of finesse, elegance and weightlessness with a powerful attack that just feels effortless. Marvelously balanced and endless finish. This is more akin to mature Burgundy than anything else I’ve tried. Excellent bottle. Absolutely stunning.
