Sunday, January 14, 2024 - Ripe and overripe cranberry and raspberry with some substantial potting soil and compost notes. Slightly vegetal but primarily fruit driven and very juicy on the palette. Medium minus body, medium plus acidity, very lean texture with pretty well integrated alcohol at 13.8%. Overall a well made wine, not extremely complex but great with food. Drank with Jack and Kel over a meal of roast chicken, carrots and romesco, cheese and mushroom polenta, and an apple goat cheese salad.
