Monday, August 10, 2009 - Very elegant pink with an almost orange impression.
The nose is intense, with pink grape a lot of yeast and a little bit of brioche.
The palate is very complex in its lemon-style flavours changing form pink grape, grape, lemon and even a little bit of orange in the mid-palate. Small and elegant bubbles that perhaps is a little bit to fragile for my liking. A lot of yeast flavours are mixing nicely with the fruit. Medium body, medium long, dry and acidic aftertaste. Even some minerals are showing nicely to provide a nice backbone. These pink bubbles are a lot more dry than it usually is for this type and it makes it very interesting to me personally.
Very enjoyable and elegant wine. Definately recommendable.
