Wednesday, June 29, 2022 - Napa day trip (MacDonald, Cardinale, La Pelle) (Napa): Aromas of soft and clean white peaches, wet clean hay, and not a whole lot of toast notes, if at all, which was a nice change. The fruit notes are very light, lifted and almost crisp but it still has good substance there.

This is very similar on the palate, nice pink fruits, a nice film of bark, shiny minerals with a nice bitterness that plays so well with the fruits. I love the prickliness on the palate that seems to give this a cozy and fuzzy hug on the palate.
