Friday, October 24, 2008 - Quite pronounced oak on nose; over time this integrated somewhat, thought still too okay for my taste. (Lamy's 2001s seem to be consistently oakier than earlier vintages.) Good minerality. Fully mature. Generally good value, but not sensational.
