Tuesday, March 5, 2024 - Decanted for 90 minutes.

Eye: Dark ruby center to light rose-ruby rim.

Nose: Cherry kirsch, burnt caramel, light earth and strawberry. Baking spice.

Palate: Cool mint. Sea-shells. Low tannin, moderate acidity. Medium body. Meat, blood, mushroom; umami. Cacao powder. Muenster cheese. Red and black fruit.

Finish: Medium length. Lightly tart and bitter. Cacao powder, kirsch.

NB: Drank from a half bottle.
