Thursday, January 27, 2011 - Top shoulder bottle but otherwise ok and from the trusted cellar of Aubrevoir in Athens. Needs decanting as there is a ton of sediment and the wine benefited from 30 minutes aeration.
Colour is youthfull. The nose is open and beautiful. Very old style bordeaux. The palate is alive and vibrant for a 41yr old. Fully matured and very elegant. Really a joy to have this but unfortunately not a cheap excercise.
