Medium color, no amber at the edge. The nose was reticent at first and after an hour or two began to open up a little...red fruit and acidity was clearly detectable, but no real nuance or added dimensions. The taste was similar. I struggled to find any true defining characteristic to the wine, it was very simple and no length to speak of. Acidity was present and by the end (3 hours later) overshadowed the fruit.

it was pleasant drinking, nothing objectionable, but feels to me this is past its peak
