Friday, August 8, 2014 - Tasted blind, this wine had a deep red/purple center with oranging rims. The medium+ intensity nose of black cherries, violets, brown spices, and soil was very nice. Unfortunately, this bottle was just slightly corked.

In the mouth, this wine was very refined with a fine-grained structure. It was ripe but very subtle. It had light rounded tannin and very good length.

While this wine is at its peak, it will last here for quite a few years.
