Wednesday, June 1, 1988 - Gorgeous wine. Medium color, trace of amber, no brown. Beautiful complex basket of fruit bouquet. Delicate and elegant. Medium body. Good finish. Still some tannin. Sweet ripe fruit. Clearly ready. Not quite in a class with the ‘61 but still a great vintage of Palmer.
