Fruit was moving toward the savoury end of the spectrum with a touch of furniture polish and walnut on the nose which was not very appealing. I can understand that this might be one of the better left bank wines of the 1970 vintage but I think this is more of historical interest, birth year wine present than drinking pleasure. Need to drink these up or sell them if anyone still has unopened cases!
