Wednesday, December 21, 2022 - Pnp, it exhibited a oaky and earthy aroma. Dark fruit tastes and medium body. Light tannins. Only the peppery finishing note gave it away as a Cab Franc-based Chinon. Otherwise, I thought it was a Cab. Pretty complex and serious red wine for its price. 2nd & 3rd days didn't improve the wine.
