Likes this wine:

Thursday, December 28, 2023 - Lovely Jurançon - wicked acidity reminding me of a bruised Granny Smith (in a good rather than spoiled way), a certain ‘grip’ on the palate, again like apple tannins (a bit of extra skin contact?) with a sweet/savoury finish. Very much carrying the weight of a Western appellation/Monein estate.

Definitely one for the cellar, where I feel added complexity will follow.

Punchily priced in the UK market now, sadly.
