Saturday, April 18, 2015 - (from a bottle bought at the winery around three years ago) nose of pineapple, minerals, petrol and some apple notes; the gout de petrol picks up a bit more on the palate. The mouthfeel is lovely, light and balanced and not syrupy, though acidity was rather less than I would have expected from a Saar riesling, and minerality was a bit understated. Still a very lovely auslese that will hold well for a good while still, though I'm not confident about improvement.
