Friday, March 14, 2008 - Cuvee Offline Dinner (Cuvee Restaurant, Napa, California): This was brought to the Napa offline at Cuvee on Monday by a friend of Powell's from the ebob board who worked at Quintessa. This wine was not released to the public from what I was told. Quintessa has a beautiful winery on the Silverado trail well worth visiting by the way. This was one of the best California SB's I have had. The wine had a lush character and was very textural. Light to medium bodied which worked well with for this wine. Notes of lemongrass and kiwi with a tart vibrancy holding it all together. 89-90 points.
