Shows a muted but fruity nose with red fruits, figs and cherries, and a slightly hint of flowers. The mouth is very fresh, lightly acidic and with a very fruity midpalate. Had this one with a two course dinner, it was perfect for the Caponata Bruscettas first, but it lacked structure and body for Chicken and Saussage Cacciatore. A nice cheap wine with decent QPR, should go well with mildly spiced tomato based italian dishes.
