Sunday, August 20, 2023 - Sunset gold in the glass. Very slightly foggy.
On the nose, wet limestone, lime and steel.
On the palate, more rounded and a bit less acidic than most of the 2020 Kistler chardonnays I’ve tasted. Lime, green apple and peach/plum predominate. Finishes with a pleasing, slight bitterness. At its peak, I imagine. 94
