Thursday, June 22, 2023 - On opening, this was mostly dark cherry and sandalwood up front, with some gritty tannins, but with a thin middle and little finish. With some air, it did fill out some, but as it filled it also lost most of its fruit. By the end of the evening, and especially on the second day, it was a bit like drinking sandalwood juice. I will hold remaining bottles for a few years to see how this develops.
