Thursday, September 28, 2023 - Great find by a buddy of mine.
The nose is powerful and presents wildflowers, dark berries, and grassy barnyard.
The palate is robust with blue and blackberry. Some plum as well. Mid palate on some fresh herbs and light tar comes through balanced by warm notes of cinnamon and cloves. Back end is fairly tight, even after an hour decant. This could use more time, but is still quite a joy as it is.

Day 2
Improved a bit. Floral notes on the fore palate and the mid palate opens up more. Ending is still a bit tight. I am going to save the next one for next year around this time.
