Saturday, March 16, 2024 - Paired with lamb shank. I’m not sure about this wine. It has a lovely nose of black fruits and plums. On the palate the fruit is there and the tannins reasonably integrated. However the alcohol is very obtrusive and difficult to get beyond which I think spoils the wine. I wonder whether a few years the cellar may help. I like aging Ozzy wines and may buy a few and be patient.
