Sunday, April 7, 2024 - Warm garnet color with faint amber bricking. On the nose it is very reductive with some ripe strawberry. The palate is more open with ripe strawberry, dusty garrigue and some damp earth/barnyard flavors. This opens up to a fairly soft midpalate but finishes with tremendous tension from loads of built up tannin and acidity. Unique wine with real finesse and sense of place.
