Monday, January 8, 2024 - Base 2020. La Rogerie, a new producer under my radar, good friends of Selosse and uses Selosse barrels. Similar style to Selosse, slightly oxidative and hints of sherry smell that Selosse have. Expressive and ripe array of Chardonnay fruits from Avize, ripe citrus, stone fruits and apples with smart undertone of oak toast. Nice purity and intensity. Not cheap nor easy to find, but supposedly there will be more volume next year. (90-91/100)
