Saturday, November 18, 2023 - Aromas of sweet strawberry, cherry, citrus, vanilla, mushrooms, a little stale bread and dried herbs... full and broad attack on the palate, this is tightly knit but there's gorgeous texture here, complex pithy and herbal tones complement the sweet oak and ripe fruit. Long dry finish, herbal and citrusy, but there's nice red fruit and oak spice too. Not as open and engaging as the 2017 was at this stage, but this is nonetheless a gorgeous and immensely complex pink wine. No doubt, it'll be worth following another 5 years, if not 10+
