Wednesday, April 9, 2014 - Aromas are of perfume, black fruits, hints of cedar. But they are subdued. In comparison, the palate is regal. Powerful but beautifully balanced. The tannins are finely honed, the oak is delightfully integrated. There's chocolate, mocha, cedar, mulberries, graphite. It's complex and finishes long. It's in a nice place right now, but could easily sit in a cool place for another decade it seems.
