Monday, March 17, 2008 - Jumping out of the glass...big fruit presence in the nose (blackberries, plums, cassis) 69% merlot, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 2% cabernet franc according to the label. Not at all shy but not over the top either, developing nicely in the glass. The finish has a bit of pepper, and mint. Midpalate is silky and there is plenty of acidicty to carry this forward, would be delightful with duck in a redwine reduction and a bit of plum sauce
