High-toned, dense, soaring red fruit on the nose. Gorgeously sappy red fruit, almost Musigny-like in its density and dimension of flavor. Animal, earth, freshly chopped mushrooms, baking spices, and wave upon wave of complex flavors. Unreal texture - silky, smooth, and packed with minerals. Endless finish. A stunning Chave with many more years of life ahead. WOTF and WOTN for everyone. Group average 19.5/20; #1 of 7.
