Dark ruby color with the most amazing nose of lilac, lavender, rose petals and cotton candy. So different from the CA Cabs that preceded it in the evening's tasting that my taste buds were absolutely & totally confused. I have no idea what food you would ever pair this wine with... I hope some of the floral notes subside over time in the bottle - it is a little overpowering at present, like a woman wearing too much perfume.
