Popped this open last minute to have with dinner, a bake of roasted tomatoes, eggplant, cheeses, herbs, breadcrumbs, etc. and it was a nice call. I really liked this. One thing I did not get was any black pepper! This is somewhat nervy, great clarity, vibrant crunch red fruits, reminded me at times of concrete-raised Grenache with some spice and kirsch. Lovely.
