Friday, November 3, 2017 - My first taste of this wine did not start well, because of the cork, which literally fell apart to tiny bits and dust, which was impossible to sieve. In the first hour the wine showed no particular character or quality, but with time and air the wine opened and got depth, richness and elegance. Metallic on the nose, black cherries, licorice. On the palate very lively, fresh, spicy. Strong grippy tannins, long dry finish. I wouldn't worry about this one, if I had another bottle in the cellar.
