Thursday, October 5, 2023 - Retail $120(?). 100% Chenin Blanc. A legend. A straight-out baller from the Loire Valley. Golden in the glass, even amber, with not much fruit and tons of nuttiness. No one I have ever met has a neutral opinion of Nicolas Joly and I will not pretend that I do now: he was a genious. Fruit (subdued), acidity (vibrant), and loaded with secondary and tertiary flavors and aromas. Whoa.
