Violets, licorice, tar, dark Nebbiolo fruit, balsam, spice and nettles. A complex nose. On the palate, it's imposing, multidimensional, imposing, yet with simultaneously terrific balance. Expansive with all fits moving parts coming together beautifully. Finishes long with fine ripe tannins. Long. Terrific. 96+
