Friday, January 12, 2024 - Very nice nose to this. I read after that this is 100% syrah If I understood correctly and I was honestly surprised. Very fruit forward with a lot of ripe red fruits. Nose was strawberry and light pepper. Palate was the same along with a touch of tart blackberries and chocolate. Some herbs In there but not very clear what exactly. I found this wine to be pleasant but not particularly complex or expressive. If the Jamet name didn't command higher prices this would be a good daily/weekly wine
