Saturday, September 24, 2005 - Dark purple and a nose that quietly evolves with time starting with pungent and condensed berries to a backing of light licorice candy. Over time the aroma seemed to be muted a tad, but one thing that did hang on was a grip that, while not over bearing on entry, did last on the finish with a tannic structure that was very even, and indeed, helped give a pleasing and lasting finish.
