Saturday, April 27, 2024 - This wine clearly divides tasters. I think it is as good as ever. My notes for the 2014 (and earlier vintages) would describe this wine quite well.
This was tasted young and fresh; it needed a bit of time to show but had all the fruit, body, acidity, tannin, and spice to be great with beef bourguignon. Big, long, well-extracted and still improving when we finished it a few hours after opening.
It needs time to show its best. Good value. 90 at this stage.
