Very lean, crisp, and acidic on the palate without being sharp. kind of a steely note to it. not much fruit, which i gather is typical. served with bay scallops over braised endive and leeks. went nicely, but not a wow experience.

night 2: much more bang for the buck! served with a vegetable stew with rosemary and leeks, wow! astonishing what it did with the rosemary. a tomato based soup too! very delicious.
